Terms & Conditions

Tours with this company booked through other platforms may have different Terms and Conditions which are set by that platform. Please check Terms and Conditions set by the booking platform.

Booking:

Booking in advance is required for all tours.

A non refundable deposit of 25% of the agreed price is required in order to secure the booking, and the booking will only be confirmed when this has been received.

The balance will be invoiced approximately 8 weeks prior to commencement of the tour and is immediately payable.

For bookings made within 8 weeks of commencement of the tour, the agreed price is immediately payable in full.

Bank transfer is our preferred method of payment, and bank details will be included with the invoice. Payment should be made in Sterling (GBP).

Cancellation by clients:

In the event of cancellation with more than 14 days notice from commencement of the tour, 75% of the agreed total fee will be refunded/ not invoiced.

For cancellations made within 14 days or less notice no refund will be due.

Cancellations must be made in writing (or email).

Where bookings are cancelled due to a Force Majeure eg. a pandemic, all monies paid will be refunded or a credit can be given, less any non recoverable expenses incurred by Skye Lassie Tours and a 10% fee to cover administration.

Cancellation by Skye Lassie Tours:

If Skye Lassie Tours is forced to cancel for any reason beyond our control, a full refund will be made. Payment of this refund releases both parties from this contract and all liabilities.

Tours and Liability:

Tours may need to be adapted because of circumstances beyond our control such as ferry services, road closure/ traffic conditions, site access and adverse weather conditions. Skye Lassie Tours accepts no responsibility where provision of services is not available for reasons beyond our control such as ferry services, road closure/ traffic conditions, site access and adverse weather conditions. Skye Lassie Tours will not accept responsibility for any losses beyond the price charged for the activity. Clients are advised to ensure that this is included in travel insurance provisions.

What’s included:

Transport and guiding on the tour, ferry fares for tour vehicle, driver and clients, parking costs of tour vehicle.

What’s not included:

Accommodation for clients, booking of accommodation for clients, food, drinks, travel insurance, entry fees to attractions.

Special requirements:

Any special requests must be notified when booking, these include any dietary or health requirements. Sorry, dogs cannot be accommodated on car or walking tours.

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:

In making a booking you have accepted Skye Lassie Tours Terms and Conditions.

If you have any cause for dissatisfaction , please let your guide know at the time so that Skye Lassie Tours have an opportunity to rectify matters.
